Attention Gardeners! Grow Club at Iver – Opening This Friday

Something exciting is coming to Iver this week… and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Grow Club officially opens this Friday, and it’s all about getting hands-on, learning how plants grow, and taking a little bit of our nursery home with you.

 

What is Grow Club?

Grow Club is our new space dedicated to plants at an earlier stage of their journey.

The plants you’ll find here are younger than those on our main shop floor – straight from production and ready for you to grow on at home.

Most of them begin life as tiny plugs, often smaller than your thumb. From there, they develop stronger roots and adapt better when they’re grown on in your own pots, beds, or baskets.

It’s a simple idea, but a really rewarding one – you’re not just buying a plant, you’re growing it yourself from the start.

How to “Grow On” Your Plants

If you’re new to this, don’t worry – it’s easier than you think.

Start them off somewhere bright and sheltered – a greenhouse, covered space, or sunny windowsill works perfectly

Once roots are well established, they’re ready to move outside

Choose a pot you love and use fresh compost

Water thoroughly after potting

Keep them protected for the first week

Feed once they’re established

Pick it. Grow it. Pot it.

Growing on indoors helps create stronger, healthier plants – and often more flowers too.

Perfect for Families & Young Growers 

Grow Club is also a great way to get kids involved in gardening.

We love inspiring young growers – and honestly, it’s one of the most fun (and easy) ways to start.

Choose simple, easy-to-grow plants and let them:

Whether it’s in the garden or on a windowsill, it’s a brilliant way to learn where food and flowers come from.

Flowerland has grown and nurtured millions of plants right here. What started as a single greenhouse has grown over seven decades into a thriving, multi-faceted, family-owned business.
