Botanical Illustration and Nature Crafts

This summer, we’re welcoming families to slow down, get creative, and connect with nature at our free Botanical Illustration and Nature Crafts drop-in event – led by the incredibly talented Georgina from @ga.illustration.
Georgina is a botanical artist & mum of one and a familiar face in the creative community. Based in Buckinghamshire herself, she specialises in fine art & ink based botanical illustration. Georgina is reconnecting with her artistic roots and is happy to share her passion for botany, illustration and crafts through community workshops for adults and children.
What to Expect at the Event:
For Adults
Dive into the world of botanical ink illustration. With gentle guidance from Georgina, you'll learn how to observe and draw natural forms – from leaves and petals to seed pods and stems – using simple, expressive ink techniques.
For Children
Kids will love getting hands-on at the creative craft station, where they’ll use natural materials to explore mark-making, make their own “nature wands,” and even try basic botanical drawings – all in a fun, relaxed environment.
Drop-In Format
No need to book – just drop in during the event window. All materials are provided, and there’s space to sit, create, and soak up the garden surroundings with your family.
Why Join Us?
This is more than just a craft session – it’s a chance to spend meaningful time together, get inspired by nature, and support a local artist doing what she loves. Whether you're coming for a quick visit or planning to stay for a full afternoon, there's something here for every age.
