As autumn arrives, it’s the perfect time to start thinking ahead to spring. Join our plant expert Nora for a hands-on planting workshop where you’ll create your very own seasonal bulb pot to take home.

The idea is simple: create a beautiful display that you can enjoy through autumn and winter, while planting spring bulbs underneath that will emerge later in the season for a lovely surprise of colour.

Create Your Own Seasonal Pot

During the workshop, Nora will guide you through choosing and arranging your plants, before showing you how to carefully layer spring bulbs beneath your autumn and winter bedding.

You’ll learn how to position everything to create an attractive display while giving your bulbs the space they need to grow and flower when spring arrives.

It’s a wonderful way to make one pot work across several seasons, rather than starting again when the weather changes.

You don’t need to be an experienced gardener to take part. Nora will talk you through the process and share practical tips that you can use in your own garden.

Once you’ve finished your planting, you’ll take your pot home ready to enjoy.

First, you’ll have the colour and texture of your autumn plants to enjoy. Then, as the seasons change and spring approaches, your hidden bulbs will begin to appear.

There’s something particularly satisfying about planting something now and having to wait to discover what’s growing underneath!
