Recap: Sip & Sketch event

There’s nothing quite like the mix of creativity, community, and cosy autumn vibes—and our Sip & Sketch Illustration Workshop had it all!

Hosted in the warm glow of Flowerland, the evening brought together budding artists, seasoned sketchers, and those simply looking to try something new. With heaters, blankets, and a glass of sparkling wine in hand, everyone settled in to enjoy an afternoon of creativity and connection.

Creativity & Cosy Vibes

Guided by our talented illustrator, Georgina, guests explored different techniques while sketching seasonal botanical inspiration—think autumn leaves, poppy seeds, Hydrangeas and more. The relaxed setting and Georgina's expert guidance made it easy for everyone to enjoy themselves, whether they were confident with a brush or just starting out.

Laughter and conversation filled the space, proving that art really does bring people together. And of course, the wine fuel plenty of fun along the way! 

What Made the Afternoon Special

• The atmosphere: autumn-inspired décor, twinkling lights, and toasty heaters.

• The creativity: seeing everyone’s unique styles and interpretations come to life on the page.

• The community spirit: it was wonderful to see familiar faces and meet new ones, all sharing in the joy of creativity.
