Looking for a fun and creative family activity this May half term? Join us at Flowerland Iver for our Create Your Own Pizza Garden Workshop — a hands-on planting session designed especially for children aged 4+.
This interactive workshop combines creativity, gardening, and a little bit of foodie fun as children design their dream pizza before planting the real ingredients to grow at home.
The session begins with children drawing and decorating their own pizza creations on paper, choosing their favourite toppings and getting creative with colours and ideas. Once everyone’s designed their perfect pizza, we’ll introduce the real plants behind the toppings — including cherry tomatoes, basil, and herbs.
Children will then plant their own mini “pizza garden” in a pot to take home and care for themselve
The workshop is designed to create a strong connection between creativity and gardening, helping children learn where food comes from in a fun and engaging way. It’s the perfect introduction to growing your own while encouraging hands-on learning and outdoor fun.

Parents attend free and are required to supervise children throughout the session.
This is a lovely activity for the whole family and a great way to inspire little growers this spring.
