Aiman is a textile artist working in fabric painting and doodling. Since 2024 she has her own lifestyle brand, Okka Doodle, centred on hand block printing. Her background also includes time at Etsy working with artisans.
The workshop introduces the basics of traditional hand block printing, from working with wooden blocks to creating your own prints on fabric. Everyone gets to have a go and leaves with a tote bag they’ve printed themselves. No previous experience needed, just come ready to get creative
Everything you need is provided:
- Hand-carved wooden printing blocks
- Selection of fabric inks
- A tote bag for printing
- All printing tools and materials will be provided
Light refreshments will be provided
Please wear dark colour clothes or where you can roll up sleeves, the ones you don't mind getting messy
