In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to knit a beautifully textured Japanese Knot Bag, working through the project from the very first stitch right through to the finished handle.
The result is a stylish, practical bag that looks like something you’d find in a boutique — and you’ll be able to say you made it yourself.
Learn From a Knitwear Design Graduate
The workshop is taught by a Central Saint Martins knitwear design graduate, who will guide you through each stage of making your bag.
Held in a small, friendly group, the session is designed to be relaxed and enjoyable, with plenty of guidance along the way. Whether you’re an experienced knitter looking to learn a new project or simply want to develop your skills, you’ll have support throughout the day.
And although the finished bag looks impressive, the Loop Knot Bag is simpler than it first appears — making it a wonderfully satisfying project to work on.

There’s no need to worry about gathering materials before you arrive. Your £80 ticket includes the complete Loop Kit, containing:
